Anne Phung Nguyen
My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in the beautiful Orange County California with my incredible husband JP and happy go lucky Dad Henry. Many people recognize me on Instagram and I write about my adventures ranging from ups to the downs. My parents accompanied me into America in the year 1990 when I was only one and a half years old. I would not be able to share my story with you today had my parents not worked for their dreams and put up with sacrifices. As I knew I could achieve a better future, I was determined to be successful and do my parents proud. There was a specific plan for me for my life: college graduate land a corporate job, marry, purchase an apartment and have children. My idea of success was to go to university after graduation, and then find a corporate job. After that, I'd marry then buy a house, and then have children. However, life was not so sure. 2013 was the year I realized the job I was in didn't feel like a good fit for me. Although the salary and position was good but I did not feel that it was fulfilling. In reality, I thought I was simply wasting my time. While navigating my way through a different career path, I discovered that I was supposed to become an instructor. I enjoyed working out, I liked having fun and I enjoy helping people. My business was founded in 2014. I am celebrating my 7th anniversary in this calendar year. There are few Asian women in the industry. In order to be an innovator in my field, and to provide quality coaching to assist others in achieving a happier and healthier life by establishing a life that is tailored to their specific needs and help them achieve their goals. My goal is to encourage others to chase their desires and lead the lives they've always wanted. My career was beginning to flourish, I experienced the biggest loss in my life, my mother's loss of life. Her eight-year battle with Scleroderma has ended and she is now in Heaven. She will always be in my heart and mind. It's amazing how the world will teach us the exact instruction we require, even when we do not realize it. The death of my mother affected me greatly and I am convinced that she offered me another chance to live my life. She passed away at the age of 87 on Tet/Lunar New Year Day. It was the day she decided to begin her new life. I was given a second opportunity to live the life of a fulfilled and happy. What I'm experiencing as I enter my 30s, is a feeling of awe and vitality. It feels like I'm truly living instead of just being. The purpose of sharing my experience is to show you that you're not the only one. I want you to be aware that love exists and that therapy is regular. Your health is the most important asset you have. It is my prayer that you live life to the highest level and not have regrets when it comes to your final days. We are the only certainty in the world.
