Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish is known for playing Heidi in Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009), Sweet pea from Sucker Punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) and Sarah on Geostorm(2017). She has also collaborated together with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. In the latter film, Cornish won the first Screen Actors Guild Award as one of the actors. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 as well as a variety of others, is her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin made a decision to pursue acting since she was able to count on the backing and encouragement of her parents. Fordham College was her first option when she was ready to enter college. In Fordham she developed her skills. Gilpin began to act as a part of Off Broadway productions after graduation and was also casting for roles in film and television. She landed a role as the lead in NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent 2001-2011 and then small roles of Ghost Town (2008), and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin was able to land TV guest appearances throughout time. Her breakthrough occurred in 2013 when she got a role as the main character on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin starred as Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin on 34 episodes until Nurse Jackie was pulled in June. Gilpin has also been seen in the crime thriller True Story (2015).
